The micro-business opportunities were chosen based on capital investment, the benefits and income offered to the entrepreneur, and the demographic characteristics of EnterpriseWorks clients. Micro-business opportunities were selected from many fields, including personal services, business services, financial services, employment services, retail, and technology. Over a four-month period Falcon Design and Marketing, Inc.
evaluated over 400 micro-business opportunities. Each micro-business was also ranked based on stability, growth, overhead, inventory, skill level, market opportunity, barriers, and Internet potential.
